Missouri Mavericks Summer Camps!

Good afternoon!

There is still time to sign up for the two Summer Camps the Missouri Mavericks are hosting this year! The camps will be directed by Simon Watson and members of the Missouri Mavericks will be on hand to assist all aspects of the camp. And we just found out the new Missouri Mavericks head coach, Richard Matvichuk, will also be there to help out with both camps!

There are two camps available:

1. Summer Skill Development Camp - This camp is designed for beginner to intermediate players (ages 5-14) with the primary focus being on skating, passing, shooting and stick handling. Athletes will participate in 3 hours of on-ice and 3 hours of off-ice sessions per day. This camp is the week of July 28th - August 1st from 9 am - 4 pm each day.

2. Summer Skill Elite Camp - This camp is designed for advanced players (Squirt, Peewee, Bantam and Midget levels) looking to take their game to the next level. High level sessions will focus on high pace, high intensity on-ice and off-ice workouts. Athletes will participate in 3 hours of on-ice and 3 hours of off-ice per day. This camp runs the week of August 4th - August 8th from 9 am - 4 pm each day.

Registration forms can be printed from our website (just click on the link) or picked up at the Centerpoint Community Ice Center. This is a great way to keep your childs skills sharp during the off season!
